Welcome to the World Baby Norah
Norah Michele Weinert was born on August 6th at 12:23 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs and measured at 19 inches. Tara was so nice to let me and my mom be there to witness the miracle of birth. It was seriously the absolute coolest thing I have ever seen! Norah is so adorable and perfect, I am one proud Aunt!
Bear Lake
My mom and dad are now members at the Blue Water resort at Bear Lake, so we have been there quite a bit in the last couple years. We wanted to do a trip with just our family this year, and it turned out to be so fun. The weather was pretty crappy, but we were able to just hang out on the beach and enjoy the wave runners. Davis and Lily loved playing in the sand!
The first night Bryce, Lily and I slept in the tent trailer with my parents, but Lily didn't sleep very well. Tara and Ricky came up the following morning and we rented a hotel room for that night. There was a complete downpour that day and we had to hide out in our room. We were able to warm up in the huge indoor hot tub though after getting completely soaked. We had such a fun time hanging out at the beach, playing games, and spending time as a family.

4th of July
This year we went to the Eaglewood Golf Course for the firework show. We always eat dinner at Grandma Burnhams Sister's house and then head up to the golf course for the show. Jesse and Alice came to join us again, and we had a great time watching the fireworks. It's always a great show. The next day we went to the West Bountiful Parade with my family. Davis and Lily were way cute together, and they loved the parade.
Jesse and Alice were nice to invite us up to Brigham City for a BBQ and fireworks with Jesse's Family. We had a great time playing Badminton and just hanging out. We watched the fireworks from their driveway, and honestly it was the best firework show we have ever been to. Brigham City puts Eaglewood to shame for sure! It was a fun filled 4th of July, one of my favorite holidays.
Lake Powell
We went on our annual trip to Lake Powell with Grandpa Dave, Becca, Darrin, Nikki, and Ella. This is always the trip we look forward to each year, and we had a blast. Dave and Becca towed the boat with their expedition, Bryce and I towed the two wave-runners with our expedition, and Darrin and Nikki drove the fusion. It was a fun train of cars all the way to Powell. Getting everything onto the house boat is always a chore, but it was worse this year with two babies on board. We had to take two trips in order to get everyone and everything on the boat.
It took Lily awhile to get used to the life jacket, but she was so stinking cute in it! She loved hanging out on the back deck and playing in the water. It was so hot while we were there we had to keep getting in the water just to keep cool.
Lily loved being on the ski boat. She always wanted to be up in the bow and she would get so excited whenever we would start going. I am so happy that our little one is a boat girl! She even had a fun time driving the house boat with her Grandpa Dave.
It was extremely hot this year, so luckily there was a nice breeze most of the time. That wasn't so great for wakeboarding and skiing, but we were glad to have some cool air. We did everything we could to keep cool. Nikki brought up a swimming pool for the little ones, and we would hang out on the tubes and use umbrellas for shade. It was pretty creative, I thought.
We didn't get a ton of wakeboarding and skiing in this year because the water was pretty choppy, but we still got some good runs in. Becca and I even got some air, which was way fun. We got Darrin on a wakeboard and he did awesome. Bryce is getting better each year, we couldn't believe how high he was getting.
We went to explore "Connie's Crack", and again it was incredible. We were brave enough to take Ella and Lily with us, and they loved it!
It was such a different trip with the babies, but we wouldn't have changed it at all. We had to be a little creative with them, like bathing them in a cooler and taking naps naked because it was so hot. They were so good together though and they really made the trip! It was such a fun trip and we can't wait to go again.
