Baby Farm Animals

Tara and I decided to take the kids up to Logan for the Baby Farm Animal Days. I was so excited to see Lily and Davis with the cute little animals. We started to day off great with Lily falling asleep on the way up there.

They had little horse rides that the kids could go on, but I didn't feel comfortable putting Lily on them. Tara tried to put Davis on one of the horses and he totally freaked out, so we were not successful. I did snap a photo of Davis petting the horse at least.

They had so many different animals that you could pet and hold. They had horses, donkeys, goats, bunnies, chicks, and even a baby cow. The kids weren't as interested in the animals as we thought they would be, but we still got some cute pictures of them. Tara and I sure enjoyed playing with the cute animals.

We had such a fun time with the cute animals, I think we will make this an annual thing that we do with the kids.

Lily's First Swimming Lessons

I heard about these Mommy-Baby swimming lessons that the South Davis Rec Center does, and I decided it would be so fun to do that with Lily. I already knew that she loved the water so I thought it would be fun for both of us. It was a five week course and we just went on Saturday mornings, so it worked perfect with my schedule.

I don't know that she really learned a lot, but the class was basically just to get the babies used to the water and learn some very basic skills. She was so cute with the other kids, and she absolutely LOVED being in the water. It was a great experience and I will most definitely do it again next year.
